He began studying at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore with Shri K Pattabhi Jois in 2005 and continued every year until Guruji passed away. Since then he has studied with R Sharath Jois, including attending his senior teacher’s course, making 10 trips in total over the years.
Paul actually began practising yoga under the guidance of Krishna Lodh in 1992 and has 27 years of unbroken practice including 19 years teaching experience.
Paul is on of a handful of Mysore level 2 Authorised teachers in the UK, given R Sharath Jois’s blessing to teach both primary and intermediate series. He also studied with Gillian Gee for his British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma.
Paul’s experience has imbued him with a deep understanding and respect for the practice, which he endeavours to pass on to his students.

Jane Wyer
I first began to teach in 1998 and in 2005 travelled to Mysore, India, to practice Ashtanga yoga with Shri k Pattabhi Jois.
Since then I have returned frequently for extended periods of study, and was authorized to teach at level 1 in 2011 by his Grandson, Sharath Jois. Jane holds the British Wheel of Yoga Teachers Diploma.
I am devoted to practising and teaching the traditional system as passed on to me by my teachers. Yoga sustains us in our daily lives, and is available for everyone no matter what age, or range of movement we have. I am particularly interested in helping to develop technique and a regular routine, in a safe and supportive environment. This sustained effort then brings about transformation in body and mind, promoting health, joy and mental peace.
I also enjoy teaching Mysore style classes where students are given instruction and adjustments to help them deepen their practice and move through the primary series at their own pace.
I am also available to teach private one to one classes and small groups. For more details, please get in contact.

At Ashtanga Yoga Nottingham we are dedicated to teaching the traditional method as taught to us in Mysore. See
